2016 Relay for Life
For the sixth year in a row, Shamrock Energy Solutions participated in the American Cancer Society’s Terrebonne Parish Relay for Life. So far, our team has raised nearly $12,000! We raised this money by holding pre-event fundraisers, including a plate lunch dinner, a Super Bowl pool and generous donations from our staff and community. At the Relay for Life event, our team of over 20 employees raised money by selling our famous bacon cheese burgers, fries and pastalya, as well as raffle tickets for various prizes.
We will continue to raise money for The American Cancer Society by raffling off a $5,000 travel voucher to anywhere in the world. The contest is open to our employees, as well as the general public. Tickets are $20 each and can be purchased at our corporate headquarters on 4800 Hwy 311, Houma, LA. Our employees can also purchase tickets by emailing RelayRaffle@go-shamrock.com and request a payroll deduction. Enter to win the trip of a lifetime!
Relay for Life is a cause that has become extremely important to Shamrock, as we’ve all been affected by cancer in some way. We are proud to be the first company in Terrebonne Parish to offer a simple and effective way for our employees to give back to those in need. Through a tax deductible donation from each paycheck, our employees have the opportunity to contribute to The American Cancer Society and/ or St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
