Gratitude Project A Huge Success
Health and wellness is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being. This March, Shamrock’s wellness program focused on gratitude because happier people are healthier people (and vice-versa).
Shamrock displayed a Wall of Gratitude at our corporate headquarters and encouraged our team to jot down what they were grateful for. The purpose of this project was to remind ourselves that even in these uncertain times, there is ALWAYS something to be thankful for! While some events in our lives are beyond our control, our responses and attitudes are not. The more we express our gratitude, the more it improves our mindset and outlook.
It didn’t take very long for our Wall of Gratitude to fill up, evidence that we at Shamrock have much to be appreciative for. Below are just a few of the things that people wrote that they are thankful for:
- “My job and my family”
- “Co-workers and teamwork”
- “Free country and U.S. troops”
- “My health”
- “Second Chances”
We encourage everyone to find something that they are thankful for every day. Remember, it’s not the happy people who are grateful; rather it is the grateful people who are happy!
